ANA LANÇA RELATÓRIO DE SEGURANÇA DE BARRAGENS

Exatamente 68% das barragens submetidas à
Política Nacional de Segurança de Barragens (PNSB) apresentam Dano Potencial
Associado (DPA) alto e 23% das barragens apresentam Categoria de Risco (CRI)
alta. Os dados constam do Relatório de Segurança de
Barragens (RSB) 2018, divulgado nesta quarta-feira, 11 de
dezembro, pela Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA). A atualização do RSB traz dados
do Sistema Nacional de Informações sobre Segurança de Barragens (SNISB),
informados pelos 32 órgãos nacionais e estaduais responsáveis pela fiscalização
da segurança de barragens no País. De acordo com o
relatório, há 909 barragens no País que possuem tanto a CRI como o DPA altos, o
que representa 19% das barragens classificadas. Em relação ao relatório
anterior, houve aumento de 26% das barragens classificadas nas duas categorias:
DPA alto e CRI alto. Para o RSB 2018, foram reportadas
pelos órgãos fiscalizadores à ANA 6.577 barragens classificadas quanto ao DPA,
o que representa um acréscimo de 20% em relação às 5.459 reportadas no RSB
2017. Já em relação à CRI, foram reportadas 5.086 barragens, um acréscimo de
21% em relação às 4.201 reportadas no RSB 2017.
